Am I missing something obvious or does Descript not have a way of changing font size and reducing margin? How can such a cool app be deficient in these basic ways? I couldn't find any way to change these.
I'm using the latest Mac app. The only semi-workaround is to open the project in the Chrome browser in comment-only mode and then zoom in using Chrome. That is really sad. :/

I often wish I could adjust the font size and margins of the script text. It would be nice to be able to zoom in/out. Sometimes I want to see more of it at a time.

I have a use case in which this very much matters.
I use two displays (an iMac and an LG)and they are set to "occupy one space," i.e., a single window can span the entire space made up by both screens.
This is especially useful for editing the timeline because of all the extra real estate.
Buuuuut . . . I CAN'T use the entire space because my script is split down the middle. And this isn't a fancy setup, so there's a natural gap between the displays which is fine for the timeline but not for script editing.
The workaround is to stretch it just enough so that the right margin hugs the edge of the display on the left. That means I'm unable to take advantage f about 20% of my display.
My suggested fix would be for the windows to be "tearable," but of course being able to manage the margins would work, too.

Setting the font size would be nice. I made a YouTube video with descript and might have used a slight larger font if I could have: https://youtu.be/D8Pb8TvYsCE
Toggling off that little bar of controls would be very nice as well. Other than that I'm impressed with how clean the video looks.
Actually the tiniest tiny tweak would be in the timing of the blue rectangles. Today at the end of sentence it jumps to the first word in the next sentence and just sits there, prior to you saying that first world. I think it would be better the graphics reflected when you actually said the first word. Because Descript clearly "knows" this, it's just not revealing that it knows this. Maybe it's lighter blue or translucent until you actually say it, then it pulses. Or leave it on last word in the previous sentence.
That is, the tracking is dead on except for the first word in sentences.

Also would love the ability to increase font size! It really causes eye strain if using for long periods of time.

+1 — Also, opening in comments-only mode in Chrome isn't really a workaround. I'm working on a 32" display and would really like to be able to
edit
with larger fonts. :-)A

How DO you open it in Chrome? This problem with tiny fonts and huge margins is driving me NUTS.

Andrea Evans: Just go to descript.com in chrome and sign in and you'll be able to view your project in comment-only mode.
