Feature Requests

I'm a longtime Camtasia user. My son has encouraged me to use your platform, and I really like it. However, I miss the cursor highlight feature in Camtasia, and it is one of the reasons I still use the Camtasia platform. I would like to use Descript much more if the cursor highlight function were in place. FYI, I like that you have a background blur function on your platform. Camtasia has no such option for talking head videos

I'd like to be able to apply "blur speaker background" without canceling out my border around the video/track.

I'd like to see a feature of applying or editing animations in bulk across multiple scenes so make videos more dynamic without manual editing. Such as zooming in and out on speaker, adding captions to emphasize certain ideas.

This way, I won't have to run the exported video through another software

How am I supposed to know that remove filler words is irreversible??? I used it a couple weeks ago and now realize it's made the video quite choppy. I assumed that if I made a copy of the footage in a new sequence and applied the effect to the footage in that sequence it would not effect the original media, from which I could always make a new sequence. There needs to be warnings or ways to revert.

Please add glow effect to subtitles

running latest version on windows 11. I've noticed this for a long time. The drop shadow effect does not function properly on a PNG image. Should be an easy fix. Thank you.

If I want to blur 10 seconds on a screen share video, it would be nice to have an easier way to blur that for simple single layer videos.

Could there be an option to add a shadow or border on the background box for subtitles? Currently I have the background box selected, but I would like to add a small black border at the bottom. Thank you!
