We need face smoothing effects, much like we can do on Zoom with Touch Up My Appearance. It can be very light, but it is still nice to have. Zoom has the best one I've seen so far, so I would love seeing at least that.

Bring log footage from popular cameras up to Rec 709 within Descript using built-in LUTs

It'd be cool to be able to control the intensity of Studio Sound with keyframe. Sometimes, some parts of the file really are enhanced when some other are "damaged" by the effect. Allowing this could allow precise tweaking, like fading between the original file and the enhanced one.

Some visibility for the status of effects that are processing. Applying something like Eye Contact to a long clip seems to take a long time. A %completed or estimated time remaining would be a huge quality of life bonus. It would help me make decisions like "should I get up and walk away for a bit?" or "Is this so long that maybe I should break this into smaller clips?"

Allow arbitrary masking of layers

Ability to animate text individually or in group, also tilt and chage size. A template would be awesome (Hormozi style)
