One of my roles is creating training videos for my clients and my YouTube channel. Since each video is unique with a set of objectives, a thumbnail image, and goes through content review, they are all individual Descript projects. Granted, some might have multiple compositions (more extensive video vs. a short or TikTok, for example.) I also run a weekly podcast and will frequently want to export them so I can get them up and running on my Podcast. Ideally, there is functionality to select the projects and the compositions to export and then select the output options for each. This same functionality could allow you to export transcriptions, audio only, video, and other export options. While a bulk publish may also be helpful, is the export more valuable now? I say this because many more manual steps are required before you can successfully publish to other services. I suggest highlighting how we do these things in audio and video products like Adobe. For example, I can send multiple projects to a render queue, specifically their Media Encoder product, which offloads the exports and allows you to select various options before rendering the material. The media encoder is fine-tuned to use hardware acceleration.

Would be great if Descript can generate 3-5 thumbnails based on the script of the video very similar to how it generates titles.

Want to integrate descript into production workflow (i.e export from an API / trigger) so that we can automate the production of videos with subtitles.

A conversation audio podcast made in NotebookLM, comes with a male and female host, needs to be split into 2 wav files. One for each host, in checkerboard fashion. I put each wav file into UE5.6 and can obtain a animated facial lip-sync. Would be nice to export a male and female separate files.

We have the ability to export WAV (still need 24-bit support) but when I export to Reaper - I'm only getting MPA media not WAV file media. I would think most Reaper users would prefer lossless WAV instead.

I’m running a video podcast, publishing weekly on Spotify and YouTube. Descript Storyboard lacks critical export features—like constant frame rate and in/out range—that break platform compatibility and force me into HandBrake post-processing. I’m happy to pay, but I need to know: Are these export limitations being fixed? Can I be given access to Classic mode for final-stage exports? This is incredibly disruptive to my work flow and causing serious problems in Spotify rejection, YouTube analytics bloat, and time lost in post-production. Please prioritize this for podcast creators and video-first workflows.

Hi, I do sales pitches. Can we have an automatic gif thumbnail created when we share the link to prospects? It is proven people tend to click on the video if they see a gif of their own website

in YouTube, you can save a standard video description (like your contact data disclaimer,etc. that stay the same for every video), that is added to every video, that you upload to YouTube. currently, when uploading directly from Descript, you have to copy and paste the standard video description, which is of course time-consuming, and more so if you are uploading a lot of shorts. So there should be a possibility to save the standard video description in Descript, then have underlord at the time markers for the chapters and a video summary in the beginning of the video description and upload the whole thing directly to YouTube

I was surprised to find no automatic insertion option for filenames in the export of transcripts. It would be greatly helpful if you could automate this since I typically have 20+ audio files to transcribe for any given project and they are all unique content.
