For strokes, outlines and fill colours etc. It would be a massive time saver to have saved brand colours or palettes for default colours

Sometimes I need to stop or pause an upload because it was either a mistaken file, or I am using a bad internet connection and need to pause it to make my system useable, but I can't just close Descript because I still want to work on an existing composition.

Animate effects' values over time

Set skin tone based on an eye dropper to automatically adjust visuals for skin tone

Pick white point with an eye dropper to set white balance

Feature request for the ability to adjust the speed of generated Overdub audio. Looking for Controls to speed up / slow down the cadence. Ability to adjust the spacing between words and / or phrases.

Support gradients not just solid colors as a fill type

Apply your own LUTs to visuals in Descript.

Since you are moving towards more AI help in our workflow, in the future, if AI could suggest from all the available libraries the right B-Roll for the scenes we are active in, that would be amazing.

For ex. breathing and laughter should be tagged as such, and not be treated like gaps. You'd also be able to search tags to find all instances of applause for example.
