Feature Requests

The newest update removed the ability to overwrite or update saved layouts. Now you can only save new layouts. I use Descript to edit podcasts, and rely on the ability to overwrite existing layouts as small changes are needed based on the framing of guests which changes every episode. It would be incredibly inconvenient and wasteful to create brand new layouts and delete outdated versions each time I edit a new episode, but that is my only option with the new update.

Could the process of creating and editing templates be a bit more streamlined? Currently, when I want to make an edit to a template or layout, it's a little confusing as to if I'm saving over a previous template or creating a new one from scratch. And some templates don't populate all the elements correctly. I'd love a bit of an overhaul for templates and layouts to make it more straightforward and user-friendly :)

the text can only ever be able 3 inches across, it is always double spaced, and you can't zoom out on the text. meaning you can only see a very small part of the composition at any given time, which mentally makes it much harder to edit a narrative.

Can you please create a layout pack for insta/twitter/TikTok? Where the safe area view is highlighted so it is much easier to edit videos.

PLEASE could you consider adding a feature that converts two-person landscape videos into portrait, automatically? I'm tired of paying for Opusclip just for this one feature.

We do a podcast that exports and could have 2 or 3 different people on the same video. Would be nice to have a template where one video could be used in multiple view ports without having to upload it multiple times. Like Vidyo.ai does

The ability to select the camera of the speaker was extremely useful when I used my custom layouts. When I create custom layouts, they don't function as designed in new projects. Being able to change the speaker in the (now removed) section within the layers panel was an efficient workaround and saved me from having to recreate the custom layout all over again. Please reinstate this feature.

Hi! It would be really helpful if I could search layout packs in Drive when selecting layout packs. I manage several, so it takes me a minute to scroll to the right place.
