Feature Requests

I am editing meditations and some video explanations. I use auphonic to clear the sound before upload to descript. The StudioSound from Descript are really not a good one for my needs! To continue to clear away noices that Auphonic dosent clean, I have started to split clip between the words where it is noices, and then mute those splitted off clips. sometimes it make extra problems with the words beeing to distant to each other on the Captions. When I have video, I do the same, aslo to remove the sound of Uh and Um between words, without making the video jump (if I should delete to much in between). I want a new feature where I can ask underlord to "listen" and do this muting for me on the whole soundtrack/video. Is it possible to ask for? My editing will take much quiker then!

Hi team! It would be a great little feature to have the ability to grab several audio level handles at once and move them together. I manually duck my podcast theme music under my guest's and my voices in the intro and extro. If I edit a bit of the podcast out after I have completed this ducking, the ducking stays in place while the voices and audio shift. If I could select the four audio handles as a group, I could move the whole ducking as a unit. Another option would be to have the ability to lock the ducking to the track so that it stayed with the audio. Thanks!

Currently I use 1 video with 2 seperate audio sources. It would be nice to be able to zoom in on my face and on the other speakers face and have it switch between people when they are speaking automatically. Multicam is very complicated at the moment.

I often work on trains and in locations with poor connection. It would be great if there was a true capacity for offline editing like other video editing programs. Even if some AI features would not work until wifi is back. The ability to cut and adjust local files would be amasing.

Have a changelog where on one screen you can see what edits were done, how long it took, and all editing related activities for a specific episode. This helps when training new editors as well as to review overall team performance.

Allow user ability to select multiple elements in timeline at once with shift or cmd or drag

when editing a video i used to use the blade tool to cut out long pauses or just whenever i wanted to manually cut something and i would choose the beginning and end cut and it would auto highlight the section i was cutting out so i could easily press the backspace to remove it. with the new update that auto highlighting feature was removed so now i have to change tools and click the section to get rid of it. it was much easier before and i was used to it, i would really like at least a setting so i can change it back.

When I click "edit word gap" if I have already edited out a breath or filler word, "edit word gap" just puts that audio back in, when what I want is silence to indicate a pause. So a word gap should be silence by default, not whatever I've already edited out, which I don't want. Thanks!

I am one of the podcasts that plays teaser clips from the episode at the beginning of the episode. So I would love to be able to mute one host's track while the other is talking for the intro clip, but keep the crosstalk for that clip in the actual episode. Making a new composition, soloing one track, and copying/pasting it back into the episode doesn't work - I have to create an entirely new project to solo that track currently, and it's a pain! Thank you :)
