Feature Requests

Currently, no matter where you have your placeholder in the timeline, if you replace meda it moves it to the beginning of the scene... not where, you know..., where the PLACEholder was originally?

Currently I use 1 video with 2 seperate audio sources. It would be nice to be able to zoom in on my face and on the other speakers face and have it switch between people when they are speaking automatically. Multicam is very complicated at the moment.

Being able to select an actual camera as the 'cutaway' would be super helpful in projects that are a typical of an in-person 3 camera podcast, where the 3rd camera is a wide 2-shot. This could be added to the Camera setup settings where you select the Cutaway camera to be either "split screen" or a track like the other camera option selector. Thanks!

When editing the transcript, it is easy to accidentally delete something from the audio. This throws off timecodes when exporting subtitles for videos. It would be nice to have a mode that ensured the media stayed pristine even while making changes to the transcript.

When I paste a gif, I can either have it run once or in a loop until the end of my clip. Can't seem to figure out an in between.

I often work on trains and in locations with poor connection. It would be great if there was a true capacity for offline editing like other video editing programs. Even if some AI features would not work until wifi is back. The ability to cut and adjust local files would be amasing.

Allow user ability to select multiple elements in timeline at once with shift or cmd or drag

Ability to lock a layer to be always on top. For example, I have a talking head video and every time I add a new background slide to a scene, I have to constantly set the order level of the main talking head video to front.

A few times now when I've tried to resize the timeline, I've accidentally clicked a new spot in the composition, jumping to a different place from where I was editing. It's quite frustrating when it happens as I have to deduce where I had just been to pick up the edit. A simple fix would be moving the progress bar below the "Record / Play / Playback Speed / Split" buttons to separate them a bit.

Currently, it's only possible to select one clip at a time in the Layer Lane. If you've gotten into a state where there are a huge number of clips in the Layer Lane that you need to remove, being able to select multiple clips at one time would help streamline removing them (instead of deleting them individually).
